Warranty

ZLS gravity meters, electronic levels, electronics, meter parts, repairs will be unconditionally guaranteed against any defects in parts or craftsmanship for a period of two (2) years after delivery.

Replacement of parts will be on an exchange basis and replaced parts will become the property of ZLS Corporation. The warranty work will be conducted at the Purchaser’s request, provided the work is done at a licensed ZLS Corporation facility. All duty, customs and transportation costs to and from a ZLS Corporation facility are paid by the Purchaser. Any software updates issued by ZLS during the warranty period will be supplied free of charge.

The warranty is void if, within the warranty period, adjustments, repairs and replacement of parts are necessary as a direct result of accident, neglect, misuse, improper operation, transportation, non-certified repairs, or causes other than ordinary use. The warranty is void if the warranty seal(s) is/are broken or if there is evidence of tampering with them on the meter case. If there is evidence that the customer has opened or tampered with the sensor element, ZLS Corporation will no longer service the gravity meter.

*The following exclusion applies to land gravity meters and electronic levels:

Computers and electronic devices for which the manufacturer’s warranty is transferred to the purchaser.

*The following exclusions apply specifically to ZLS Dynamic gravity meter systems:

  1. Platform bearings.

  2. The following items are warranted for a period of 90 days after delivery:

    1. Accelerometers

    2. Torque Motors

  3. Domestic Customers, the ZLS GyroPack is warranted for 2000 hours or for 90 days, which ever occurs first.

The warranty period will be extended by the length of time the instrument is in transit and in the ZLS laboratory for repairs.

The foregoing warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, and all obligations or liabilities on the part of ZLS Corporation for damages including, but not limited to, consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the instrument.
